We find Alpacas to be one of the finest investments available, combined with the most gentle creatures on this earth ! We personally care for our herd. With our staff, we have a combined 135 years of experience in animal husbandry, and 32 years experience with Alpacas. We handle most medical needs with our experienced herd manager. The veterinarian is on call for difficult births, ultrasounds or any serious medical matters. All other animal maintenance, such as nail trimming, shearing, etc. is handled by our ranch hands. 

Pride of the Andes, Inc, is currently involved in an Alpaca nutrition study being conducted by Dr. John Bryk DVM.
